I was getting so much history in it, I spun this one off and now have World War II and War of 1812 blogs which came off this one.

World War II-- $4.1 trillion Afghanistan/Iraq-- 1.1 trillion Vietnam War-- $738 billion Korean War-- $341 billion World War I-- $334 billion

I don't know about this money/deaths comparison. But when it a war of choice (see Iraq) whatever your adding up its appaling.
