Deaths: Willis Ware, Early Computer Pioneer

WILLIS WARE, 93, AP.

Died November 22, 2013.

Helped build early computers in the1940s and 1950s for Rand Corporation.

He was on the Princeton team that built the IAS machine, one of the world's first electronic computers in the late 1940s. Joined Rand in 1952 and helped build the Johnniac Computer.

Without him, I might not be sitting here typing away right now. I am not sure whether I should be happy or not as I spend way too much time on this.

Thanks Mr. Ware.
