I was getting so much history in it, I spun this one off and now have World War II and War of 1812 blogs which came off this one. The Blog List below right has all the way too many blogs that I write.

From the April 6, 2012, Yahoo! News "Ten Things You Didn't Know About: The 100th Anniversary of the Titanic" by Victoria Leigh Miller. //// 1. The evening meal April 14th, First Class, was a ten course meal including oysters, poached salmon, sirloin of beef, lamb with mint sauce, chocolate eclairs and waldorf pudding. A different wine was served with each course (ten dribnks?). Coffee and cigars accompanied by port and distilled spirits were also available with the last course. //// 2.
