James Garner-- One of My Favorites

From the Jan. 5-11 American Profile Magazine "Ask American Profile."

Someone wrote in and asked "Where was James Garner born, how old is he, and does he have any children?"

Garner, 85, was born and raised in Norman, Oklahoma. He and his wife Lois have been married for 57 years and he has a daughter and stepdaughter.

He was the star of TV shows "Maverick" and "Rockford Files." His movies include: "The Great Escape," "Support Your Local Sheriff," "Murphy's Romance" and "Space Cowboys." His autobiography "The Garner Files" came out in 2011.

He always reminds me of my dad.
