Deaths: "Newhart" and "Simpsons"-- Marcia Wallace

MARCIA WALLACE (1942-2013) Died October 25th.

She played the wise-cracking receptionist at Bob Newhart's office on "The Bob Newhart Show" and Bart Simpson's 4th-grade teacher Edna Crabappel.

I used to have to stay home every Saturday night until all those great CBS shows were over back in my much-younger days. I didn't watch "The Simpsons" for a long time because of Bart Simpson. These are two of my all-time favorite TV shows. I'll sure miss her.
