This grew out of my Down Da Road I Go Blog which now has become primarily what I'm doing and music. I was getting so much history in it, I spun this one off and now have World War II and War of 1812 blogs which came off this one. No More Fox Bounty Money in 1969
From the April 3, 2019 MidWeek "Looking Back."
1969, 50 Years Ago.
"The bounty paid on fox carcasses was eliminated by a ruling of the DeKalb County Board of Supervisors. The measure was taken because the amount of money paid to bounty hunters is in excess of the money appropriated for that purpose."
