This grew out of my Down Da Road I Go Blog which now has become primarily what I'm doing and music. I was getting so much history in it, I spun this one off and now have World War II and War of 1812 blogs which came off this one. 1918, 100 Years Ago.
"Fairdale celebrated peace in the appropriate manner Monday by a community service at the school house.
"Music by the band, speaking, singing and the burning of the kaiser in effigy, were features of the affair."
