Eleven Galenians Enlist in Marines on August 26, 1953-- Part 3: Jim Rosenthal

I did some research on Jim Rosenthal and found out he had died January 5, 2010, in Virginia Beach, Virginia, at age 74. He retired as a lieutenant-colonel after 31 years of service in the Corps.

He was born in Sioux City, Iowa and was a native of Galena.
