This grew out of my Down Da Road I Go Blog which now has become primarily what I'm doing and music. I was getting so much history in it, I spun this one off and now have World War II and War of 1812 blogs which came off this one. In 2009, the cost to ship a 40-foot container from China to the U.S. West Coast was $1,184. Now, it is $2,302.

NOW: Workers manage an automated factory line. Some 53% have at least some college edu and nearly 1 in 10 has a graduate or professional degree.
TOP THREE INDUSTRIES: food, chemicalls and complex machinery.
