This grew out of my Down Da Road I Go Blog which now has become primarily what I'm doing and music. I was getting so much history in it, I spun this one off and now have World War II and War of 1812 blogs which came off this one. The Blog List below right has all the way too many blogs that I write.

The Titanic Trail in Manhattan-- Part 4
LIGHTHOUSE IN SIXTH STREET SEAPORT at the corner of Fulton and Water streets. Once on the top of the Seaman's Church Institute at the corner of South Street and Coentie's Slip. Erected by public subscription in 1913 as a Titanic memorial. //// In July 1968, the Seaman's Institute moved to State Street and the Titanic Memorial Lighthouse was donated to the South Street Seaport Museum.
